I had the same problem with my Vista 32bit, where I would run the benchmark and it starts SP.

Run the bench as Admin, then when it ask's for the directory just select the crysis folder in Program files. Thats what worked for me.

+REP Yup that did it....

Anyway, from what i'm seeing Vista 32Bit is giving me a few extra frames avg in the Crysis Bench.....Still no luck with Quad SLI performance though in the bench for that matter. I'm going to try the SLI profile idea....

I have similiar problems with my 9600gt's( although its not quad ;P ). With 174.74 drivers my FPS get cut in half in most games. With 174.53 drivers ( i believe thats the number im using ) my problems were solved. You could try 174.53.

nvm - im a lazy ass I should have read the whole topic first xD

Definitely a driver issue..

https://surveys.nvidia.com/index.jsp...f09e040b4a437a

Report it to nvidia using that, hopefully it'll get fixed in the next releases sooner that way.

32Bit OS and 2 GX2s don't play well together as the OS will address the 2 Gb of video memory prior to your system RAM.

try running the assault harbor run, i find it uses quad SLI more like the single player, and it reflects real in game performance much better.

if its a driver issue how come not everyone is having this problem? guys like maxishine and trubritar are getting crazy numbers....yea they have better machines but wouldnt they be suffering too if it was a driver issue?? just asking...

What settings are you running the gpu benchmark at? What fps are you seeing?

Likewise, what in game settings are you using, and what fps are you seeing?

The numbers vs. the settings are potentially important to troubleshooting this issue.

I frankly would be very surprised if the OS sees anything other than the 512MB of RAM that's present on each physical card. There's no reason I can think of that these cards would expose more memory addresses than the total VRAM capacity, which in this scenario is 512MB. Do you have some form of verification for this theory? Not to put you on the spot or call you incorrect, I've just never heard of such a thing, so I'm curious where you learned this?
