Hmm, based on all of these GT200 articles I'm thinking that its just going to be an oversized G92. Its going to be fast as hell and probably cost over $700 at launch and, of course, be faster than the RV770.

I think the reason its been taped out but nothing has been done yet is because they are trying to figure out how to fit a phase change cooling system into a dual slot configuration

Personally I'm going with ATI, since I think that while they won't deliver as much raw performance as nVidia does, they will be priced so low that a CF configuration would not only overpower nVidia's offering, but cost less too.

To early to tell.

But it depends on the launch price.

HD 4000 hands down, 20% less performance for 50% less price = win.

I will buy a couple if they out do the 8800s by a fair bit.

Edit: If they were around 500 or so I would probably pick two of them up.

No I wouldn't get the 9900 if it were only 20% faster, and priced at over 50% higher then HD 4000.

Gotta love how nVidia will charge an outragious amount for a card that in the end does beat ATi. The only thnig is imo its not worth the extra money for possibly only 20% more performance.

Well if the GT200 was fast enough that you'd need to Crossfire a couple of HD 4000 to match GT200's performance. Then the GT200 would be worth it in my opinion.
