ep35-ds3r massive vdroop oc troubles

Thread Starter
so i got ep35-ds3r board to upgrade my old p965-ds3.

I set everything to the same config as the p965 except IT IS NOT STABLE. Upon investigation i found this massive vdroop 0.05v+ vdroop as voltage goes higher.

the stable oc config on my e4300 was 1.48125v (bios) vcore but under P35 it drops to 1.41-1.42v. So I keep bumping up the voltage but it was ridiculous. 1.55 bios drops to 1.48v in windows. BTW, the stock 1.325V drops to 1.29v...

Now i read other in some other threads there's a mod for vdroop on ds3r. Does that mod work for EP35 (the regular one is just P35). Can I use a pencil for this mod?

bump

update right now on 1.5v bios and stressing, seems stable, but everest and cpuz reports 1.42v vcore... that is -0.08v difference...

ep35, ultra energy saving my ass

update: this mod works for ep35, BUT it only reduces the vdroop and does not fix it. It dumps up vdroop by +0.02-0.03v
