Man I'm having some issues with my ISP.....nothing but problems since I moved to this side of town.
I get ping fluctuations of +-30ms, I get *s when I run a tracert in DOS.......I dunno.
I'm trying to test further to see if there's anything I can do, such as trying a different DNS server manually or something...I have a really expensive Multitech router from work, so I have many options at my disposal.
I don't get packet loss if I ping OCN for 10 minutes, but I get packet loss when I run SiSOftware Sandra internet connection bench.
ANy suggestions are greatly appreciated.
I have tested with another router and both NIC ports in my mobo.
I'm going to test with only the modem tonight and I'm going to buy another cable modem tomorrow to test further.

I get ping fluctuation on most servers, but it seems to affect me more when I'm playing TF2 (the WORST), Frontlines Fuels of War, and that's it so far. I don't seem to get any warping or anything with COD4 or BF2142. Maybe the netcode is more forgiving on these games....I dunno.
THis is driving me insane.....of course the ISP sees my cable modem with full signal and has no issues with it....my speedtest comes back good too. Of course that's all they look at....
