Antec Nine Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case and HD3870X2 - Page 2

I had trouble fitting 2 8800GTXs in that case. I had everything running but it was very tight fit. I would suggest getting at least a modular power supply, and doing the cable management case mod.

The Antec 900 comes with something that allows for a floppy drive to fit through. It's basically like a shell that fits in the slot for DVD players, but has a hole for a floppy drive. If you get it new, it will come in the box.

sadly im planning a move for the P5E X38 Motherboard and a Q6600 Go Stepping CPU, and thats eating virtually all my budget, so buying a new PSU is not likely to happen

Just looking athe measurements of the thermaltake measuremenst, they are very similar to mine, except the thermaltake being slightly taller but depth and width wise is the same. Hmmmm I guess if the HDD's go higher up that should solve half the problem as i had to remove my HDD cage from the case so my 3870X2 would fit, currently using the floppy cage to hold HDD lol.

Ill have a look at the Antec 900 measurements also

If you replace the 120mm fan kit (marked red), it will fit.

It has enough room, just be sure to remove the plastic thingy to attach another fan on the second HDD bay

EDIT: Yeah exactly what the guy above me mentionned

Antec 900 49.3cm x 20.6cm x 46.8cm (L x W x H)
Thermaltake Shark 50cm x 20.6cm x 54cm (L x W x H)
My case atm 50cm x 20.3cm x 44.5cm (L x W x H)

Not much in difference huh? other than the hight. my case is just cramped with all the extra mettle inside it which it dont need (i blame PC world lol)

Hmm so at the moment im still kinda favouring the Antec 900 but ill see when i come to ordering the stuff
