I was looking through some old stuff of mine last night and I found a small fan that I ripped out of a broken Xbox1, so I thought hey, I can use this to help cool my NB since it is hot to the touch. Well I plugged it in and this little thing is a beast, my guess is that it wasn't running at full voltage in the Xbox because this thing is louder than my Zalman and it runs 100% 24/7. But the problem is that no monitoring tool detects it or tells me my RPM's, not even the BIOS. I would like to be able to turn it down a little because it is much too loud...is there anyway to limit this thing's speed? Also, does anyone know of a program where I check NB voltages and temps? Thanks!
