Questions -> OCing HD2600XT GDDR4

post #1 of 3
Thread Starter
So I'm try to get all the information I need in 1 thread. Here goes nothing.

1. It it worth it? Will I notice a performance difference (been playing games like CSS, TF2, and will possibly start to get some of the newer ones)

2. If i decided that i do want the performance boost. Should I; Just OC, Just install omega, or Install omega drivers and OC. ( I know the drivers ain't out for vista yet, i'm just preparing)

3. If I decided to OC using tweaking programs? any recommended particulars for my card.

4. Is there anything else you would like to add or say?

Thanks in Advance

David

I would just DL Rivatuner and play around with OCing and see how much of a performance increase it yields in games/benchmarking. If you don't find it to be worth it for you, you can just run the card at stock.

As for the drivers, there's only one way to find out how they will perform on your pc
