the high voltage doesn't seem plausible. Maybe cpuz isn't detecting right.
and you would expect 6ghz on ..what, stock vcore. LOL. Clock speeds require voltage..period.

I doubt the person who did it is running it 24/7 like that. He likely pushed it to a ridiculously high speed, took some screenies and maybe ran 3DMark 06, and then turned it back down.
You are talking about - kingpin - one of the worlds renown OC guru's.. who has held the 3d mark WR's for 01', 03', 05' and 06' several times before. Of course he is not running this 24/7 ..you would be just plain stupid to try. You dont need a 24/7 system to break/create a new WR.

1.95v seems plausible for a suicide run, even on 45nm, with LN2, or maybe a cascade.

Certain OCers have put well over 2v into 65nm chips with such cooling.

but whatever, I wanna see that thing run crysis with 2 9800x2 or 3870x2.

i think itll break the 3dmark record as well.
I saw his post on xtremesystems, he said it BSODed before he could open 3dmark.

Although he managed to get it to boot Windows, is there any evidence of stability?

Some of you guys crack me up. The guy gets 8 cores running at 6GHz and you are worried about stability? That's freaking insane.

It does the wPrime 32M @ 3.450s.

ROFL.. QFT! If it was supposed to run 24/7 stable... then it probably wouldnt be called "Extreme Benchmarking" .

I read somewhere that Kingpin likes to keep the FSB low and use the CPU mutiplier to acheive insane clocks. I don't remember the given reason but to me it's to eliminate the board from the stablity equation.
