Help me choose 27inch LCD monitor!

Thread Starter
275T+ and 2707WFP caught my eyes.
Both look very nice and customer reviews are awesome.

I don't do professional things with monitor,
I watch HD movies and play 3D games such as hellgate, crysis, cod4..

Help me choose between those two models, or any better choice?
budget is around ~1000 but less is better always

I lean toward SyncMaster 275TPLUS because of the available HDMI port which is useful if you have to connect later on a gaming console or a blu-ray player (just in case)

Just bought one of these online. After reading some of the reviews on [H] forum I decided to pick one up for pc and console gaming.

Have you considered the Viewsonic Vx2835WM (27,5")?

I purchased one after reading lots of reviews of all large screen from 24 to 30" and trying as many of them as possible with my own eyes, and I am very happy with it.

It's a TN panel but viewing angles are OK, display quality is great, it have a lot of input, and it was less than half the cost of the Dell 2707 when I bought it (Depends on the country though).
