Found this thread looking for ideas for adding fans to the top panel of my CM Stacker I just bought. Love what you've done with it.

Subscribed and +Rep.

Truly amazing work and the planning is great!

Got progress report and lots of photos for u all

Lets get to it right away.
Been working on the mini air ducts for the top panel.
It was time to wire up more LEDs and get the duct lighting done:

Pre tinned all ends to make joining easier and cleaner

All working

Now, this where patience was required

ready to deploy...

We got activity!

OK here is a story... I made two of these shrouds to house the ducts but it did not work very well so scrapped the idea...

revision A

I got 2 'rings' glued in in each shroud. left a small gap in the most inner ring to make room for wires.

test fit

Got more to post - I'll be back soon.

Looking awesome - that front design is really unique!

Only thing I would say out of personal preference is I would love to see that channel polished to a mirror finish or similar rather than covered in carbon fiber, just because I think the contrast against the orange while matching the silver dust filter material would be amazing.

By the looks of things, whatever you do this is going to turn out awesome!

I was thinking the same thing but to be honest, the carbon fibre solution was an easy way out (yeah I know purists will cringe now ) because of lot less work involved but I would not mind trying polishing. Maybe I could do a smaller piece to see what it would look like - what would be the EASIEST way to get some polish done?...fine grit paper, chemical liquid polish?
