I like the slanted mesh more, as opposed to the honeycomb. They both look nice though, so when will it all come together (the case)?

What chipset does that motherboard have? I'm not familiar with it, but it almost looks like a P45 board that was in the news section
the board is based on nVidia 780i, supports tripple SLI and comes with X-FI card. The XFI and 2 legacy P-ATA interfaces were main reasons wwhy I bought this mobo - and also because I like MSI

I like the 'bumper mesh' better too but because the individual strands are twisted, it is not that easy to work with. I bought 2 sheets (50cmx50cm) of the modder mesh, I better find some use for it!
I do have plan 'B' for it in case I dont like its look.

I am keen to get the case 2gether this weekend but need to do more painting and also cut space for 3 x 120mm fan in the top panel so I expect partial reassembly at this stage.

OK its time to talk about the top panel.

I want to install 3 x 120mm exhaust fan. 2 of them in the PSU thermal zone and the 3rd one removing hot air from HD zone.

Currently there is a factory made 80mm opening with fan fitted.

Initially I was gonna space the 3 fans a little but then I realised that the current opening will be between 2 fans and therefore there will be no actual metal between them unless I manufacture something - yeah right

So I decided to put them next to each other, side to side and use AC Ryan RadGrill template as a guide to cut the correctly shaped opening.
If it does not turn out as expected then I will actually buy the RadGrill and attach it to the top panel.

Because the hole I will make will match the RadGrill shape, should it be necesary, the RadGrill will cover nicely the dodgy work and no one will know anything about it...

...except the 50,000+ members of ocn

Looks good! I'm not familiar with the case, but is the PSU at the top or bottom?
I would make sure not to try to mount a fan in the same place as the PSU, as it will just block all of the air
edit: it mounts at the bottom
