Oh no! I don't want to this to continue that long! But this project has been going for such a long time that I now making jokes about it
Really, the cable management aspect of the mod is the last stage.

Your video card isn't ever going to conflict w/ that cookie sheet mod is it?
I made measurements before I designed the concealer. I kept is 6cm wide to prevent it from interfering with mobo or gfx cards so it shoud be OK

Man, it's shroud city in there! I don't think you'll have any airflow issues whatsoever. I can't wait to see your temperature reports in that case.

Yeah, It's a big unknown at this stage but my gut (aka logic ) feeling tells me it'll be OK

Mini update

Im waiting for several meters of cable sleeving and some CF film to arive.
ETA is some time midweek.
In the meantime I installed the last case fan - rear intake

The washers will be painted black

The sticker on the motor housing will be covered up or else it looks crap

There are 6 case fans and they all have to be connected to power somehow so I bought a fan-bus.

LOL, can u see the problem...

BLUE!
I could only get hold of blue one and since this colour does not belong here, I will either have to disconnect the LEDs, cover them up or replace them with red.
That's all for now.

Slipstream I see, good choice Euro!

Could you not have made a terminal block for the fans? Similar to what CR did in his Intelligence build?

I vote remove the LEDs. I think you'll have enough lighting/etc in there w/out the fan-bus too,lol.

Euro, it may be simply moot hindsight, but perhaps you could just get some zip tie mounting squares and stick them to the inside of the cookie sheet contraption? Looking good! I think my rocketfish will need to have this mod done. Do they make cookie sheets that big?

Of course I could make a terminal block but the fan bus I got was only few $ on clearance sale so I had to get it
I need to take it apart and see whats the best course of action.

Not sure I get you... so basically you suggesting to have the cable guides attached to the inside of the concealer and then cables secured to them as opposed to cables affixed to the mobo tray and the concealer acting as a cover only
If you look at 'tabbed' part of the concealer, I will have pieces of velcro attached to them so that I can attach the concealer to the mobo tray and remove it easily when I need to access the cables.

I bought the biggest baking pans there were in my local Kmart - I got approx 31.5cm long piece.
You might go to specialty shop to get something bigger.

Well not exactly. You can get the little 1" x 1" mounting squares for cable ties that are self-adhesive. I was thinking you could put them on the inside of the concealer so that you didn't have to drill into the tray, but the way you did it sure works too! - quite nice actually.

Looks like your back fan is turned around backwards. I assume you intended to have it exhaust instead of intake?
