[GMR] XBOX 360 Sales Soar - Page 5

Just a question out of the blue, but do newer 360 premium models (like ones they ship from the repair factories) include HDMI ports now? If not, will they in the future?

It was news the first month that PS3 sales exceeded 360 sales. It wasn't news the 3rd consecutive month it happened. That's just fanboy gloating. I guess you don't remember how bitter all the PS3 fanboys got when I brought that up.

Yes, all new models include HDMI. This includes the Arcade, Premium, and Elite.

What does telling the truth have to do with "fanboyism" or "internet tough guy syndrome?"

Except that it is not the truth with the newer Falcon consoles. It would only be true if the guy was buying an older model.

Interesting. Since I have personally seen the new ones RRoD. I have read the stories that continue to pile up on the internet. It still takes place just not quite as often.

I've read those too, but a lot of those seemed to be immediate failures - i.e. manufacturing defects or shipping damage. I haven't heard of too many that failed from regular use. Most sources put the failure rate around 10% or less for the Falcons.

Please stay on topic.

Btw: HrnyGoat is right on when he states that a change in the pecking order or a dramatic increase in sales is news, but that merely posting sales numbers every month isn't news. If Sony does something to the PS3 and they double their sales, that's definately news. Just like if MS sells the same number of Xboxes next month, that would not be news.

That's not necessarily true, as it's based on opinion.

I am an anti-sony guy, but even I admit that the PSN is a great service, and add to the fact that it's free, and will feature Home, puts it ahead of XBL in my book.
