just a question,
i know that xbox 360 has preloaded drivers for there wireless adaptor but i was at bustbuy the other day and saw pelican wireless router,so my question is would the pre loaded drivers accept another wireless adaptor like a linksys ect..

No it will not. It does not have the appropriate drivers for it.

You can hook up a wireless game adapter just not one that uses USB... You need to plug into the ethernet port;

I had a Netgear WGE111 Game Adapter connected via the ethernet port and setup the connection by first plugging the adapter into my PC so I could do the IP and WEP details, worked like a charm and saved me buying the 360 wireless adapter.

But if you dont have one then its probs still best to get an official adapter.
