XFX 7800GTX for £54.95 any good ? - Page 2

No, I'd say if you can get that card for under £60 then go for it, it's better than the new budget cards like the 8500 which are similar price

I thought you could only RMA it if it was broken? Or am I just being retarded?

Erm, no. No they won't. They will have some 7900 stock. I wouldn't count on getting an 8 series at all!

8800GTS 320mb £82

That extra £20 will give you about an extra 4K in 3Dmark It is worth the extra money mate!

3850Pro also £82

Personally, i would get the 8800GTS 320mb for an extra £20 if you can stretch.

8800GTS 640mb £100

I know that is out of your price range. I am just pointing it out in case you have some extra money

EDIT: Sorry, forgot to actually answer your question lol Yes for £55 that is a good price, and i would jump on it if i was you. But if you do have the extra money, get the 8800GTS 320mb. If not then just for the 7800GTX

Yea they are, the 2900Pro was going for £90 at one point!

Now most places have sold the 2900 series stock and most of it is overpriced.

Remember, they are not from a quality brand like BFG or EVGA. They are just OCuk GPU's. So they may not OC so well, but even at stock they will monster a 7800GTX and them some

They will also come with a warranty. So if it breaks just simply replace it
