Coming from a total Steam Fanboy, I would still say you have to get Cod4. It took me months just to find a class in tf2 i was comfortable with, and now it gets boring. I'm having trouble finding a class I'm good at. :/

CoD4! It's awesome. Never gets boring for me either.
It's really up to you. There's limited maps on COD4, but a lot to do, much like BF2. TF2 is getting slowly upgraded, character by character, and soon will have contention with games along the BF2/COD4 variety. There's more of a map choice with TF2, and they're all pretty entertaining. Character classes are simple in TF2, modifiable in COD4.

It's your choice.

I disagree, i reckon (IMO of course) that both multiplayers are great. But COD4 also offers single player game mode as well.

I would go for COD4 as it offers both SP and MP modes. Double the fun

If you just like running around shooting people mindlessly, get CoD4.

If you like teamwork and tactics, get TF2.
