I thought that I would buy 2x1GB of Crucial Ballistix DDR2800 RAM, but then I wanted to explore any other options I had. I wanted to see if I could get a solid 2x2GB kit. I probably will have an IP35 Pro and a Q6600 that I want to overclock to 3.2-3.6GHz. I want to try to keep memory 1:1 (good thing?). I also want to know about timings. How much slower would a kit such as a G.SKILL with 5-5-5-15 be than a Patriot with 4-4-4-12? Also, should I get a Patriot Viper: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820220293, a G.SKILL latency 4: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231148, or a G.SKILL latency 5: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231122. The latency 5 one seems attractive because of price, but so does the Patriot. Which is best for my needs and which company will have decent support if something goes wrong?
