Besides that's what they said about 60hz +, it annoys the hell out of me, we've already stated I'm a mutant. Another thing that pisses me off about the LCD's is that I can't do my 100hz.

to sucker people in. same thing as selling a car that can go 200 mph. no road lets you go 200 mph, but they'll tell you the car is better because it can go faster.

LCD screens can only refresh 1/4 the pixels on the screen at once.

A 5ms LCD screen can change it's pixels just as fast as a CRT doing 60Hz. A 2ms screen can do 85Hz or something like that. CRTs go up to 145Hz I believe.

Yeah 145Hz, max mine can do is 100 @ 800x600, which is pretty good. I hate anything under 100Hz on a CRT, so I kind of have to get a 2ms.

refresh rate on an LCD is a completely different concept than refreshrate on a CRT.

Hey, you know.. you should probably keep your CRT, and invest in a dolly to move it around to Lan parties. Seriously. I love my CRT a million times better than my previous 22" widescreen LCD.

The wide-screens aren't really much more than the normal ones, do you think it would change performance at all to scale it?

I've been carrying it and it's been fine, but, I'm kind of getting tired of it, and I've been getting some headaches lately, thinkin' it's from the monitor.
