750 FTW board is based on the 780I chipset but it's just as cheap as the 680I which has a few quarks with some people, but still overclocks like a champ. I was actually considring RMAing my current board (nothing wrong with it) and using the same cash to pick up a 750 ftw, it's been getting great hands on reviews with quad/duel overclocking.

My psu of choice: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817341002

Great size/color/fans stays cool, solid build. The cording is slightly longer though so if your gonna stick with a midsized case it would require some fun cabling. I have a Cosmos and this thing reaches every part with ease. <3 it
taht to was my 1st psu of choice, it was the 1st one i suggested and i was told to change it

Okay, look at the price. The first 2 are good performers for the priceerformance. The 3rd is not. For almost double the price you get ~5% performance increase for the Q9450 over the Q6600. However, I am yet to see a Q9450 do anything anywhere near what we've all seen Q6600's do.

Do yourself a favor. If you need quad, go Q6600. Its unneccessary to spend the money for the Q9450 right now.
true, but im always up for the gamble that i chose something that can do better. maybe ill be the one to get it to some insane speeds

I say stick with a 9450 and besides its 45nm you can't go wrong there.
