Upgrade notebook processor?

my notebook has a slot S1 sempron 3500+ processor and i'd like to know if it's possible to upgrade it(hopefully to a turion X2).
i'd really appreciate some information.

Yea! u can easily upgrade ur notebook with a Turion X2 ,as S1 was specially meant for Turion series of processors! then later they released semprons for it too!!

You also need to check if the motherboard of ur lappy supports it! maybe a Bios upgrade will be reqd.

Here also it states that S1 supports -

- Turion 46
-Turion 64 X2
-Mobile AMD Sempron Processors!!
