CSS Stress Test results thread

post #1 of 21
Thread Starter
Hopefully there isn't one already.
Just wanting to take a gander into other people's performance in CS.
Format to use:

Processor(Ghz):
Ram amount/speed(mhz):
GPU(If OC'ed state clocks):
GPU Driver version:
OS:
Results:

Settings to use:
1280x1024
4xaa and 8xaf (I believe most cards can do this nowadays)
All settings in-game on high, full reflections and dx9+. No HDR.

Feel free to post any comments on what hardware you think affects the game the most or what tricks you might have found in game
Example. Side note issue the console command fps_max 999 so it doesnt cap at 300 at times. This will betterly even your real average.

Example(mine):

E6400 @ 3.2ghz
2gb/875
8800GTX flashed 621/2ghz
174.74
WinXP 32bit
1920x1200
2xaa 16xaf in Nv CP
266frames a second

Interested in other peoples results. Kind of bummed I still dip under 100fps sometimes during gameplay and I'm very picky about my framerates.

Ole!

Raffy that doesnt seem too bad. Im at 3.2ghz and when I ran the test on xp with the same driver and 16x/16x I got 165fps.

--Killin: Under options-->video go to Aspect Ratio and for your 22" itll be 16:10 then under Resolution select 1680x1050
