q6700 FTW, i bet that could hit 4GHZ on air @ 400x10, with some AWESOME air cooling. maybe the ultra 200 or zalman 9700 or big typhoon. id be content with 3GHZ on my q6600, but i have not been sucessful.

Considering that you would have to be buying a cooling tower so you would be able to OC to the full potential... I would recomend that you buy the OEM version of the Q6700. TigerDirect has them in stock for $270 or thereabouts, and paired with a good cooling tower you should be running fast and cool.

A properly cooled Q6700 can hit 4.0Ghz without much problem.

I haven't seen many. Unless proper means good water.

Yeah I'm going air cooling on my CPU, probably a Tuniq Tower... i'm thinking the 6700 OEM might be the way to go.
