I've heard the x8 x8 for the 750i FTW before..but i haven't seen any articles that actually confirm it. Is the Asus guaranteed x16 even while in SLI?

Here man, read this http://guru3d.com/article/mainboard/525/. FTW Evga! I'm thinking about getting this board and a Q6700 since prices dropped. Sorry AMD, no boards for new B3 Phenoms with SLI.

Here's some info on the chipset. The picture with the specs clearly list x8 x8 SLI. http://www.anandtech.com/cpuchipsets...oc.aspx?i=3180

Anything you can post to prove this? I found nothing about a typo when I was researching this board for purchase. I stayed away because of the x8x8.

edit/// The article even talks about the lanes and what you get: 1 x 16 or 2 x 8.

Yeah proof would be much appreciated, until i see something on evga.com or a similar source i am not going to believe it.

p.s. is SLI setup even worth going for if i'm not running anything bigger than a 19" widescreen monitor?

what more do you need

Quote:
It is dual x16.

Inside the manual, that is a misprint, we are updating that now.

Thanks,
If he was talking about how each individual pci-e connector was x16,then it wouldn't be a misprint.
