Looking for a new PSU

Thread Starter
I may be upgrading to another 8800GT in the near future but I don't think the power supply I have now will be able to handle it. Right now I have the Apevia Iceberg 680w and I think the quailty of the psu isn't enough for 8800GT's in SLI. What I'm looking for in a psu is something without sleeves or maybe something modular.

Specs-
E6600
4x GSkill HZ
XFX 780I
320/250 Seagate Hard Drives
Antec P182

Hereis the psu I have now, will it be able to handle what I have now and another 8800?

There is enough power along the 12v rails on your power supply, it should be able to handle the SLI.

check the card amperage requirement and multiply by 2
now check the sticker on the psu and add up the amps from all of the +12v Rails (not 3v, not 5v)
minus the first result from the second, how much is left over for the rest of the system components (ie hdds, cpu, mem, etc etc)?

It is a 680w PSU but only 28A on it so it is still able to handle GT SLI.
