i struggle to see what DOESNT appeal about a sims-style home menu network where you can create and customize your own self and interact with other people on PSN in a fully interactive world. For FREE. Thats an important word. Sony dont charge 'points' for everything they provide and when it's released it will make a huge difference to the PSNetwork. Just imagine what it'll be like singing into PSN, walking round and meeting your mates. Chatting and then join metal gear online together and play in a server.
This is the kind of thing we should be seeing more of in the gaming industry. Why complain about it? 'home' is a good simple name. Is that all you can find to criticise? come on..
If you want to believe I criticize its name because I can't think of anything else then go ahead. I never even mentioned anything else, but since you assumed something because you are quick to jump on people for not liking an idea (which is borderline fanboy paranoia), I will indulge you. Quite frankly, the entire idea of a virtual chatroom is completely ridiculous and unnecessary. It has absolutely nothing to do with whether it is on the PS or Xbox or Wii. If people started downloading IM programs that displayed you in a virtual world with whomever you were talking, guess what? I would not use it because it is completely ridiculous and unnecessary!
