Post of the year!

I love thinking about what you could have done back in the good'ol days! Like really, you could get stabbed just walking down some road one day and the killer would never be caught.

Sucks man on the stolen stuff. I say we start hanging murders and theives on our nations bridges as a sign...oh boy. [<--Yes, that was sarcasm...as is about everything in this post.]

Well I hope you get your stuff back, but if you don't, next time:

1. Lock your doors, you're not in Canada.
2. Get car insurance that covers theft.
3. Next time, think of why you would be leaving nearly $1000 worth of electronics in your car...
4. Hope that the 360 RRODs days after its stolen

Be realistic, if you leave something out in public, common sense says lock it up. So, whilst i feel for the OP, i have to say it may have been prevented if he had locked the car.
dont forget that in this non-dreamy non-utopia people will also break windows to get stuff. then you lose your junk and have to buy new windows.

i am simply saying "fault" is the absolute wrong wording.

no, but seriously that sucks. RULE #9001819 section-B-50648: NEVER leave precious electronics in your car unlocked, or lying around some where. i always hide my 360 somewhere safe whenever i leave my house, unless i'm going to a friends house to play, then i'll be so paranoid and turning around, at every sound and making odd sounds like "hyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah" or "waaaaaaaaaah"

My last Jeep had it's system and my sisters backpack (lol?) stolen and my doors were locked. Did I mention it was sitting in my driveway right in front of our home? They got the hatch open, crawled through and snatched it out. Broke the dash up real nice like.

That, kids, is why I bought a two-way alarm system. If anyone so much as pushes my Jeep with their hand using a bit of force, the alarm sounds and my lil' remote starts going nuts letting me know I need to go crack skulls.

I don't leave so much as a water bottle in my car. Who knows? Maybe a crook will get thirsty as he walks by my vehicle...
