That, kids, is why I bought a two-way alarm system. If anyone so much as pushes my Jeep with their hand using a bit of force, the alarm sounds and my lil' remote starts going nuts letting me know I need to go crack skulls.

My friends car got broken into when we were in NYC a few years ago. She lived at home, so somehow got her parents homeowners insurance to cover it. Not sure it that would work in your case. The only thing to do, really, is scout the local pawn shops and look at craigslist. The hard part is proving that they were yours.

Hey man. Don't fret okay? Everything should be alright even if you don't get your stuff back. There's a little thing in this world that exists , and many like to call it karma.

Life is full of ups and downs , and the further you go down , the further you go up

Your best bet, call up Chuck Norris, he'll find the guy for sure and give him one of his roundhouse kicks for free, and wont get in trouble for it.

OK, if i was a thief and you did that to me. I would happily nut you there and then. He obviously knows you will be too scared to do anything, he will most probably piss his self laughing at you.

I'm sorry to be so harsh but you seem to be living in a dream world. You can't just ask people politely, it doesn't happen. You lost your stuff, i can sympathize with that. But planning on asking the robber for them back, that's just damn right pathetic.

Are you serious?

Your mate caught some idiots trying to steal bikes, well then it must be them huh! Seriously mate, get a grip. The kids will not go down his street every night hoping there is something down there. Chances are they won't go down there again, simply because they committed a crime down there and someone might have seen them.

And then you are going to lure someone into a trap just hoping it would be that very same person? You lost your stuff man, game over. I'm sorry to be so harsh but your posts seem to picture you as very naive.

And check the law as well. I am pretty sure it is illegal to 'set some up to commit a crime.' I'm pretty sure i read it somewhere. I could be wrong, but either way it just isn't worth it.

Sounds like someone knows how you hide things.
