Thinking Of Going Sli.

post #1 of 2
Thread Starter
i am considering going SLI with my next upgrade, and i'm interested in opinions of which cards to go with. i'm looking at this MOBO;
http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16813188026

so, let me have it.

oh, best bang for my buck, i dont want to drop a $grand$ on ultras. i'm thinking 8800 gts, or 9600s. would i be better to just get 1 9800 Gx2, or not?
thanks in advance.

That's a good board, but I've heard about issues with the sata ports on that board. I'd wait it out until the guys at evga find a solution just to be on the safe side. As far as cards go, for ~350 you can get 2 of the G92 GTS OC open box that I posted in the deals section here. That would be a killer bang for your buck.
