Yeah no probs at all heres a screen shot

its not stable of course and 3dmark 06 crashs at
that clock speed, but ATI CC seems quite happy to
report a pass at 970mhz, I normaly just run 880Mhz GPU
and 1151Mhz Ram (DDR4) in ATI CC as thats been stable
in ATI Tool and looping 3dmark 06 havent stabilty tested
above that though yet.

and no the cards not been moded in any way at all.

i acheived mine only through flashing the bios.

save the bios using gpuz

edit the bios with 'Computer Base ati bios editor', 3850, 3870, and i beleive now 3870X2 bios compatable.

and if you have the balls, flash it to the card.

max i could get with any software was a shade under 900mhz, mine now runs 945/1044 with no vmod ( keep in mind my gigabyte 3870 is GDDR3 ).

oh god please don't tell me you guys are using CCC overdrive? The reason it passes is b/c it doesn't even set the clocks while at the desktop, so it's pretty much useless imho. Overdrive never applies the clocks correctly it seems. I'll need to see an ati tool artifact scan with amdgpuclock tool to verify the speeds.

Btw Xinoxide - the bios tool does not flash more voltage. It's already been confirmed, and one of those who have confirmed it is w1zzard himself. You are probably using CCC Overdrive as well right?
