19" LCD Monitor for 169.99
Currently I have a 19" CRT that can run at a higher res (1600x1200) than the LCD, but it's way dated, like over 10 years I think.
So would it be worth it to upgrade to the LCD or not?

If you are going to get a LCD get at least a 20" that supports 1680x1050.. My Dell CRT has 1600x1200 but it isnt that great of quality. Generaly on an LCD 1440x900 look better than 1600x1200 on a CRT. I would say get a new monitor. I would suggest whatever is in your price range.

I would say look around here though, lots of lcds in the for sale section. I just bought a 20 inch myself for less than the 19 you're looking at.

It all depends on what you plan on using it for. If your gaming, I would go with a 20'' widescreen like some have said. Like 10 or 15 bucks more than that model, and your stepping up the resolution. But if your set on that one, then I think the price is right!

Good luck!
