Three Boards, Three Prices, Three Choices-Help please

Thread Starter
So i was going to go with the 750iFTW by evga which has been getting killer reviews...it's a sexy mobo and has SLI, but then i learned that unless i'm running over 1680x1050 sli isn't worth the cost. And my hope is to purchase the Acer 2000:1 contrast ratio monitor when i can afford it...which maxes at 1680x1050

So it comes down to these three boards--

The eVGA 750iFTW-199$

The Abit IP35 Pro-169$ with a 30$ MIR

The Gigabyte P35-DS3L-89$

The Gigabyte seems like great deal considering it's so cheap and has a lot of good reviews under it's belt...but the thing that worries me is i have read numerous times that it has a rather high vdrop...and being new to overclocking (as in 100% complete noob) the vdrop concerns me.

I'm leaning towards the Abit right now, it's a good price after the MIR and has a lot of reviews including anandtech recommendation, but i'm just not sure.

All opinions and recommendations incredibly appreciated.
Danke

EDIT:
Always forgetting, this will be paired with a Q6600 G0 and 8800GT (maybe GTS if i save enough on the mobo)

Don't buy a P35-DS3L. I absolutely hate this board for OCing my Q6600. Ordering another board within the next week.

I'd aim for an Asus board seeing as they seem to be the most reliable ones.
The gigabyte is pretty cheap, and is the best rated LGA 775 Mobo on Egg...
It depends mostly on your preferences.

I have an IP35-Pro with a Q6600. Can overclock to 3.6 on air with good temps. Definitely Recommended

The Abit IP35 Pro is awesome. Though on newegg it seems that they have released the IP35 Pro without RAID for $99 and $85 after MIR. Seems like a good deal to me and I am assuming that it should overclock the same, but don't count my word on it. Asus stuff hasn't been as good as they used to be there higher end boards are good but not at the price range you are at.

Whys that? Vdroop is really bad on yours?

On my other rig im using a DS3L, and I absolutely love it. I wouldnt waste money on an nForce mobo. I made the mistake of getting the 680i (long story/have a thread on this).

I vote for the DS3L, havent gotten a single problem with it ever since day 1.

1.36v in bios gives me 1.264v CPU-Z load and I occasionally see 1.248v.

Thats completely normal..Happens on almost every board. You just have to have a higher BIOS setting.. Nothing wrong with that.. Although mine isnt as bad as that.

That doesnt matter, they are able to do 1.5+ on load. My vote is still in for the DS3L.
