i fitted it into an antec p182 on a gigabyte p35-ds3r. the problem with it not fitting in alot of cases is due to the motherboard NB being too big or raised too high, if the NB is relatively flat like the p35-ds3r, it should have no problem fitting. i also had to bend the HR down a bit to fit the top of the case, but it fits.

He's using a 780i, the North Bridge heatsink is HUGE. lol. Plus, not sure if he wants to do any bending. I guess it's an option.

Correct me if I am wrong, but i have seen ONE review in which the ocz thingy was placed in front of the TRUE.

I would hardly call that conclusive. putt a quad with 1.5v onto the ocz and i bet it fares about as well as my old ninja.

I like, I like.
There are quite a few OCZ V2 threads that have popped up over the past week or so;
I'm guessing due to the BenchMarkReview "reviews" claiming it and the Xigmatek beat out the TRUE.; and replies that BMR isn't a "proper" review site, or "didn't use proper testing methods" (Mainly by owners of TRUEs it seems )
RE the Xigmatek, there are also numerous threads in this Aircooling section.
See OCZ V2 vs... w/ links.

I assembled most of the links and (More than one) reviews into one spot ,
Read through em all, and decide for yourself what is best for YOU!

Post with links from Main Thread on the "New" Xigmatek
Cheers Mate

and Welcome to OCN

None of you guys said anything about the Tuniq Tower yet.
It costs the same as the OCZ, how good is it?

Because of the good reviews and low price and direct touch heat pipes, I ordered a vendetta 2 cooler from buy.com, but its sold out at the moment for $38 shipped with google checkout(-$10), $35 if u don't have to pay ca tax. Just keep checking every once in a while as they have a limited supply.

Someone needs to do a test with high cfm fans, both lapped, TRUE vs vendetta2.

The IFX-14 and Vendetta2 both destroy the TRU1E at low-mid CFM. The IFX-14 and Vendetta BOTH have wider spacing inbetween the fins. The TRU1E has very close spacing. That is why the IFX-14 beats the TRU1E with fans slower than 100CFM. If you want to compare the pure cooling power of a HSF, you have to use a 220CFM Delta. The TRU1E will win in any review like that though.

Same performance as the Vendetta2, a little better at higher CFM. Just about all HSF need lapping.
