OCZ Vendetta 2 better then TRUE 120?

Thread Starter
just wondering is it better then TRUE 120? and cheaper 2
post #2 of 15
It IS cheaper and it comes with a fan which defrays the cost even more.

Whether it's better or not - it performed better according to Benchmarkreviews.com's test. I'd like to see some other sites do a similar review just to have some consistency of results across the board.

Against a stock TRUE with a common fan, yes.

Against a properly lapped TRUE with a >100 cfm fan, probably not.

Likewise, you could lap the vendetta 2 and toss a high CFM fan on it and it would still beat out the TRUE.

Comparing stock to modded is stupid.

You can but since copper is much softer than other alloys, you would need to be very careful....

Ven all rdy has a 80 cfm fan how much higher are you gonna go.True all rdy has been lapped and proven to be better that way.Your guessing a lapped Ven would be better cause there is nothing out there proving it.

Not comparing something so widely done and proven is hiding something.
