Looking for a Lian Li..... - Page 2

Xlio build quality isn't even close to Lian Li.

I say go with the new PC-Vxx10 series. The workmanship top tier and the panels are THICK aluminum.
Once again...

Thicker the sides are means the less noise emitted, right?

Less prone to warping/denting, badass looking, and they come with sound reducing foam as well. A pain to cut through though.

How much space do you need in your case? If you need a lot, nothing compares to the A7xxx series. If you're "okay" with limited space, the V1xxx is great.

Well, you can always check out the V2000. They're being replaced with the V2010's soon, the big change is the inverted ATX of the V2000 is going to be replaced by a regular ATX in the V2010.

Which, IMHO, is a step backwards, but to each his own.

Yeah, it's nice, but once again, I'm looking for the PSU on bottom and a divider between the PSU and MB.

The V2000's nice, but I'm not quite sure if I need a full ATX case. Anyone have any thoughts? Do I need one?

That's another thing I'm curious about. Lian Li's the first company I've seen use the inverted ATX, but they're changing it. Someone told me it works better. But they're moving away from it? Is there some sort of problem I should know about?

I should mention that right now I'm leaning more toward the V1100 Plus II, mostly because of the door on front, exhaust fan on side, and inverted ATX. Things I would LIKE in addition to these features but maybe I'm just not seeing: Top Fan, Side Window, ESATA, and removable MB tray. Maybe I should just list what each one has that I want and doesn't have that I want and see which one has the best list that I can live with. Man I wish they made a comparison chart. Maybe I'll start a new thread with this stuff, unless someone can point me to one that is already done.

Thank you for that input, that's the kind of feedback I'm trying to find out. Have you seen inverted ATX in action? Does it make any difference in temps?
