hi all.....

im building a new rig just for fun OCing & to test hardware in as my other p4 rig wont take any new stuff then just keep the sig rig for gaming
these are the items i have ..

psu
3gb DDR2 dimms
80GB HDD

but i want to put this chip in it.......

what do ya think.......i know its netburst but im sure it will clock like a beast with good cooling....?

For Pentium 4 its great, but the new C2D chips are waaay better

It gives 1/3rd the performance of a C2D clock for clock. It also runs twice as hot.

A decent P4 chip but too hot. Get an E2140 and OC it.

oh well..... i guess the P.D. is truly dead i will go 2140 i think see if i can get over 100% or should i get a 2200 or 4300 do they clock well..?

I still think the e2140 is a better investment than e2200 or e4300 that I tried but I don't know how these new batches of e2200 and e4300 are doing thou.
