SUSE Monitor Problems

With Opensuse i am having problems with my monitor not working. I'm using a sony laptop with the model number of VGN-NR180E. My screen is split into two mirrored screens and the right side of the screen is black.

What graphics card?

And can you choose the resolution by pressing F3 or something when you get to the disk's boot menu?
