time flies it does
well, you dont really carry your desktop on your back for hours a day. i dont know how heavy your course load is, but i would definitely recommend an extended battery as well.

i also really love Apple's magsafe ac adapters. people have tripped over my power cord many times and only the cord goes flying instead of the laptop. i wish Apple didnt own the patent to it so others could integrate it too. its one of the best inventions ever.

i am thinking about just biting the bullet though and spending the cash to get a good laptop which i would probably end up using outside of college too

its just making sure i have the funds too survive if i do
