Overclock.net is amazing. New monitor news!

When I came here on February 11th, I had very small goals. I wanted to just replace that 500MHz Pentium III pre-built Gateway and get the best budget parts I could find to build a computer, and then quit the forums and go about my business.

But here I sit with my sig rig. It's overclocked (I wasn't planning on overclocking!), and it's somewhat top-of-the-line, especially compared to what I was planning on getting.

Sitting in front of me is this beautiful 22" Samsung widescreen LCD monitor: the 2253BW. It arrived today and I've been using it now for a couple of hours, and I'm so extremely satisfied with it. Everything about it is amazing. There isn't one thing I dislike about it!

So, the reason why I said Overclock.net is amazing is because I had those small goals. I said I wasn't going to replace my CRT until it died. But then I ran into some extra money, asked you all for some help with picking out a monitor, and here I am sitting in front of this great LCD display.

I feel like I have kicked some major butt with OCN!!!

So, to all of you who have helped me, this thread is dedicated to you! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I could not have done this without you.

Yes this place is amazing. It's filled with lots of helpful and knowledgeable folks.

Due to the info on this site I've also bought a couple things. New case (P182), fan controller and fans. I learned alot about overclocking, and I painted and modded my new case.

Next order of business is a new lcd tv, lol.

After seeing over 20 LCD tv's side-by-side while shopping at Wal-Mart for some canned air, I say recommend Samsung has got most of the competition beat. That tv really stood out!

This LCD monitor seems to have that same thing happening with it. It's so amazing. I'm so glad I bought it.

Good idea, EnforcerFX and Sonic. I'll have to do that when I'm not so sleepy and it doesn't feel like an overwhelming task. But I have to do it soon. The desk is relatively clean now! hahaha w00t!
