Radeon x1950 PRO 512MB

Thread Starter
I just got this card (posted in title) from a friend. It's better than my old one, a XFX 7900 GS 256MB.

I was doing dual monitors on my 7900 but when I got this one I can only run one without the screens going black and then the 3D application crashing.

Here's my setup:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+
OCZ 4GB DDR2 800
2x WD 160GB RAID0
ATI Radeon x1950 PRO 512MB
22" Samsung & 19" HP

Does someone have a fix?

Also, the card is not overclocked..

did you bother reading it? He has a problem regarding black screen on dual monitor setup.

He's not asking if the x1950 is better than the 7900.

Bye Bye 775

x1950 is better than the 7900GS

My friend had two x1950 PRO's and the one was a HIS IceQ overclocked card and it was screwed up (which is what I WAS using). I swapped cards with him and this one is running fine..

Also, the HIS was blacking out with a single monitor too. So the card was definitely screwed.

You can close this or whatever.
