use a flat razor blade align with the surface of the heatsink and cpu. see if the surfaces are flat. if it is not, lap them both . if it is indeed flat, i recommend you reduce the amount the thermal paste, and check the screws. and what is your ambient temperature? i ran at 3.0ghz with stock voltage. temperature idle should be below 40.
