I tried to benchmark these drivers on the Crysis Benchmark test, 1280x1024 all settings on high.
With 174.74 release I got 34.43 and 34.39 with the 174.93 xgs so take that for whatever it's worth.

Acctually I'm going to switch back to the 174.47 because atitool shows much more artifacting using the 174.93 all settings being equal. Didn't really test overclocking potential too much, but doesn't seem to be any benefit with the 174.93 vs 174.47.

I've actually had better luck with the 174.93xgs drivers with my setup. I tried the 174.74 whql drivers and couldn't get a stable clock over 805 core. I went back to the 174.93xgs driver and tried OCing a bit more. I was able to get my 3dmark06 back up to 15941 but on a lower clock (831c, 1201m, 2001s). It's also ati stable for 10+ minutes like this so I'm going to stick with these drivers until something better comes out.
