Some of that stuff that's quoted under my name isn't actually my words.

Yeah that was my mistake, I figured you would notice that I just pulled a NOOB maneuver, my apologies I didn't intend to misquote you.

Those were my words in there I just forgot to amend the posting directs.

When will Ubuntu support dual install on fakeraids with Windows
post #47 of 57
I'm on Ubuntu right now!!! I'm loving it ....just a lil frusted that I can't do some things that windows

does because if I could I'd have switched already. This is like third party support supremacy on the

inferior medium like Betamax vs. VHS.....ARGH!!!

Loving Ubuntu....I just realized, most people won't switch because they cannot say Ooh Boon

Too....they get confused and say weird things instead with letters that aren't even in the word

UBUNTU.

I don't think that's why most people won't switch. Most people won't switch because anything outside of Windows is outside of their comfort zone. I'd wager that the vast majority of people are probably even terrified of Windows to some degree.

Good Point...I was rashly speculating...and being an arse as well. I honestly feel how you do. But at this point I like Linux MUCH more than I did then despite the fact that I still can't quite use my gpu. I can't get used to how slow windows moves. I got frustrated and booted into Linux with video that doesn't bounce around when in HD and more solid feel for things that work.

Different distros suit different people. Ubuntu is a good, one size fits all, easy distro.
