Quick Question

Iam not sure if iam posting this in the right place so iam sorry if it’s in the wrong place .

Anyway Iam trying to decide on how iam going to cool my custom computer iam planning on building but I can’t decide how I want to cool it lol. Money is not really an option, although I would like to keep it under let’s say 1k, and I don’t want something where I have to constantly monitor it or something that has a high danger risk. Oh iam also going to have the computer on 24/7 most of the time, so I need something that can handle that too .

I was reading up on some of the cooling options and a peltier system just seems dangerous because if something goes wrong when let’s say iam sleeping then it can actually pump heat into my computer, is that true or is it a rare thing for it to fail?

Phase cooling also sounds like a good thing, but iam worried about condensation. Is there any way to completely get rid of any chance of that happing or at least reduce the chance down to near nothing?

Water cooling sounds good . Again though iam worried that if something does go wrong that it would totally destroy my computer, which is bad lol. From what I read though it seems that something like that doesn’t happen all that often if not at all so it seems pretty safe.

Air and Liquid Nitrogen are out of the question, iam not pouring Liquid Nitrogen into my computer 24/7 and air just sucks lol.

Basically iam just trying to get the pros and cons of each and figure out which system would work around what I want to accomplish .

Thankyou~ Ryan

WC looks great for you although it does require some maintenance from time to time. Even WC will suffer a little though during those hot NYC summers so don't expect 40c load temps when it's 90f outside!

Yup iam thinking about doing WC too but phase cooling is deffently an option if there is a way to get rid of the condensation crap.

I just dont want to pay like $1500+ for a computer, put it all together, and then have something go wrong and it overheats and kills itself. With air if something goes wrong it just shuts down, with peltier it dosnt usally work that way but i dont know about phase or water.

Thanks for the help though! Oh and by the way i dont live in new york city lol. It still gets pretty hot here though sometimes.....

What about the Freezone Elite. From the reviews its a good cooler and if the pump craps out it supposedly shuts the PC down.
