Appraisal: Crucial Ballistix Tracer 1066

Thread Starter
I have 4 - 1GB DIMMs of these ballistix (PC2-8500). They have clocked to 1200mhz with 5-5-5-15 timings on 2.2v and are stable. These are the double-sided sticks with Micron D9GMH ram.

What is the value of these?

Thanks!

I'd say $180 - $200 shipped, I got my used Ballistix Tracer DDR1066 for $90 (2GB), here, but since yours can overclock that high, a little more value is added.

That some serious work on those Ballistix. I'd say $175-180. Anything more than that is crossing DDR3 prices.

hm... i dont know about that much. $175 seems abit high. even though its a good OC'er. I payed $55 for the same sticks except its 6400. I can get 1200 clocks also. mine are double sided and have d9 chips. the max $130 is what I would pay for sticks like these knowing that ddr3 is soon to bloom.

IMO 175 to 180 is way too high for the ram.

I just bought my ballistix PC8500 Doubesided from ebay for 75 bucks for 4x1gb sticks.

I do have to say that I got lucky, but I think 150 is about right.
