front panel usb plugs come on the mobo yes or no?

Thread Starter
Alright this is far the dumbest question I have asked on OCN

But, I want to know if the front panel usb plugs come with the case;come on the actual mobo or do I need to purchase a card for the front panel usb plugs?

I am wanting to purchase the EVGA 780i mobo because its future proof and its a bloody good mobo.

kinda like this,

One more thing are there any mobos which have wireless inbuild(integrated in the mobo)? I am wanting link my three computers to the internet that why.

errm, the USB panel and wire will come with the case, not the motherboard. Those wires will then be plugged into free spaces on the motherboard.

Also, some mobo's come with wireless built in (i think) but you can pick up a PCI wireless card for next to nothing these days, so that's nothing to really worry about...

If you choose a case with USB ports on the front, there will be a header on the motherboard that connects the USB ports to the mobo, so that is entirely dependent on the case. My motherboard has built in wireless, but in all of my device managers it shows up as a USB wireless device. As Wig said, wifi cards are uber cheap right now, I think you can get an abit one from newegg for 10 bucks or less.

ok, you said you wanted a 780i right. well you would plug your front usb plug into the header on the mobo. it would plug into #11 on the board!
