AMD Cooling (Heatsink + Fan)

Thread Starter
During the summer this room gets quite hot. Very hot actually. So, I've decided I may want to get better cooling for my CPU, not for overclocking but just to keep it cool.

Here's what I think might do the job.
Heatsink
GeminII - http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Coole...oductDetail.do

Fan
2x - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835129043

Circuit City and Best Buy are right down the road so any suggestions and links to there would be greatly appreciated.

I'm looking for a heatsink that is around $40 and not to much more. Fans can be below $15.

Thanks for helping

Gemini2 is a bad idea. My friend had one, not only were his temps the same as with stock, but it broke his mobo as well. I recommend something from ZeroTherm.
The BTF90 or Nirvana, both are very good.

Well, that gives me goood hopes for my Noctua NH-U9 once I strap the pair of Delta Tri-blades on.
I mean, that is pretty ridiculous that it comes within 1.3 degrees of the NH-U12 on their "synthetic" test. Course, they used a bloody loud fan to do it with.

Anyways, I am currently using the NH-U9F. As it appears, the HS itself is a fairly good unit, however the "F" fan that is included is sub-optimal for the task of cooling an OC'd processor. However, the current NH-U9P is supposed to be much better, as they updated the fan with a design that has greater static pressure, and more air flow in general.
However...I ordered a pair of Delta EFB0912HHE Triple Blade High Speed Fans to mount to the HS. With the smaller hub, higher static pressure, and more airflow in general, I am expecting greater cooling capacity. My idle temps currently at 25/31 on my Opty 170, and a load with OCCT coming near 60 degrees if I remember. This is my 170 running at 2300mhz @ 1.25 vcore
