Any old WCing hose.....

Thread Starter
so after reading a thread earlier today, i realized you can't use just any old hose for your WCing setup. I work at a Boating store (Boater's World) and have been getting a few supplies for my watercooling setup; like o-rings and hose clamps. Would it be a bad idea to get the hose from here as well. do you u think it'll cloud/fog up like that other guys did???

If the marine industry uses an Ether Based Polyurethane Tubing like Superthane, no problem would exist. Corsair uses that brand for the HydroCool 200 and the Nautilus 500.

Another brand that is worth mentioning is ClearFlex 60. Danger Den uses that brand too.

Those are the Tygon substitutes I know of.

Tygon is very soft isn't it? I have 2 feet of Master Cleer (1/2) and 3 feet of Tygon (1/4), which I use for tight bends and corners. For the rest that don't require arching (lead tubes to res / pump for example) in order to save money, I use this REALLY HARD and CLEAR (with bunch of printing on it) 1/2" tubing which was really cheap (very hard to break too) which I found in my local Hardware Shop.
