That's only Ubuntu... and I max my connection all the time, which is limited to 1.16mb/s.

School is a different story, I reach about 4.5mb/s.

I never read into the newsgroups thing. Other than that where do you find an FTP server that hosts all your favorite umm..... download selections.

edit: and with bitme and oink(now what) I get over 1mb/s, which is basically as fast as My connection will allow me to download

Just because I find possible solutions to your theory that 'all torrent sites will die' doesnt mean you are right.

Tell you what. Back-up your files, in PhillyOverclockerville torrents are doomed.
Im not sure about your ISP but my optus ISP is too daft to see past utorrent encryption and thats a fact.

I mean at the moment there are only 1.6 million people connected to Azureus in my region. 1.6 million.

I wonder how big the task force to take down torrents will be.

In the past 3 years i have seen 1 torrent site go down. just 1. keep it coming
