Zalman 9700 ona DFI DK P35

Thread Starter
Well, I just put together the rig below, and I am a little bummed. The Zalman 9700 LED is great, but it has a a 3-pin connector, while the DFI mobo needs a 4-pin. I used the included fan adjuster but I really don't like that thing dangling inside my awesome new box.

So the question I guess is, does the DFI mobo use the 4th pin to adjust the speed of the fan? And if so, is that reason enough to buy the Zalman 9700NT??

I just moved my CPU fan connector over to the head for the NB. My system doesn't have a northbridge fan and I don't beleive yours does either so that may be worth looking at, it'd be cheaper than buying a new HSF.
