Overclockin an AMD Opteron 165 1.8GHz..

Thread Starter
I've heard of this processor being able to be OC'd up to 3.0Ghz...
My motherboard allows me to control all the voltages/timings/other settings. Can anyone help me out with which settings I should change?
Processor Bus Speed is 200 MHz,
Processor Multiplier is x9,
Processor Core Voltage is 1.373 V
My RAM timing is 2.5-3-3-7...
Let me know if you need any more details...
Any help is greatly appreciated.

How about voltages, should they be altered? Or memory timings?

Not until you start getting errors in your Stress Testing. Make sure you test for 20-30 minutes ever 20FSB you go up. Test 4-8 hours for ever 50FSB.

I prefer Orthos. Prime95 and OCCT are also good.
